For coordinators
Setting up your department
The person who signs up is the coordinator: the training sergeant, the FTO coordinator, or whoever runs the account. Here is what that involves (about five minutes), and who does what in a department.
1. Sign in
Your welcome email has the link. Sign in with your email and the password you set.
2. Add your officers
Open Your people from the menu. For each officer, enter a name and rank and their agency email, then Add and send the email. They get an email to set their own password; that is their seat. A trial has five seats; a department plan has as many as you bought.
3. Hours are pooled
The hours on your plan are shared across all your seats, not split evenly. One officer can use most of them, or five can share. Your people shows hours used against the pool.
4. Review a run
Every run keeps its transcript, its audio and its debrief. As coordinator you can open any run by any of your officers, read it, print it, or download it for the training file. Officers see only their own.
5. When an officer leaves
Turn the seat off in Your people. Their runs stay in the record. On a department plan the seat can be given to someone else; on a trial, seats are named once for the thirty days.
6. Run one yourself first
Before you add anyone, run Gloria's door once. Ten minutes, and you will know what your officers are about to see, and what the debrief looks like from their side.
Who does what
Three roles in a department
Coordinator
Runs the account: adds officers and evaluators, sees every run, transcript, debrief and recording, the hours and the seats, exports the training file, and sends feedback. Does not take a seat. One per department. Whoever signs up with the code is the coordinator, and can hand the role to someone else from Your people.
Officer
Runs the scenarios and sees their own runs and debriefs. Takes a seat.
Evaluator
Command staff, FTOs, quality assurance: sees every run, transcript, debrief and recording, the hours and the people, and can export. Runs nothing and takes no seat. The coordinator adds an evaluator the same way as an officer, choosing the role.
